On Friday October 12th "Middle Of Nowhere" opened to a packed house in New York City at AMC Empire 25
"MIDDLE OF NOWHERE" written and directed by Sundance Film Festival Award Winner Ava DuVernay, chronicles a young woman caught between two worlds and two men in the search for herself. Ruby, (Brilliantly portrayed by Emayatzy Corinealdi) a bright medical student, sets aside her dreams when her husband is incarcerated. The feedback was uninimous in that this movie is a piece of classic storytelling with moving visuals and strong performances. Omari Hardwick, Lorraine Toussaint and David Oyelowo were outstanding. The evening was further enhanced by a meet & greet and post screening Q&A with Ms Corinealdi who shared her personal experience with the audience.
