"I was inspired not just by my own life experience by also by the lives and experiences of many other women and men to write this show. I wanted to give the audience a snap shot into the lives of these 5 distinct characters and 5 very specific issues that I think all women face and all people can relate to. I've injected a lot of humor, drama and honesty into each scene and given the audience a voyeuristic view into the hearts, minds, conversations, and straw-on-the-camel's-back moments of these characters. Everyone can relate to and will cheer for these 5 women as they scramble, laugh, spit, and rise like phoenixes. You know, the way women do."
